Entries for the 2013 V8 BillyKart Derby are now OPEN! Download your entry form today using the link below.

 

WHAT: A side by side knockout tournament (not literally!) with a trophy for the winning kart of each class. Additionally a trophy for the fastest kart of the day.

WHEN: Sunday 20th October from 9am - 1pm (approx) 

WHERE: James Street, Burleigh.

WHO: Everyone! Bring the whole family along for a fun-filled day of racing, meeting some of Australia's BEST V8 Supercar Drivers and shopping in the Art & Craft Market. Don't forget to check out all of the amazing shops along James Street as well!

DERBY CLASSES: There are three classes at the V8 BillyKart Derby:

  • Primary School ($5) 
  • Secondary School ($5)
  • Open - Adults (For the bigger kids! , $10)
Entrants will be allowed a practice run prior to racing commencing,
 
Enter before 9am Monday the 14th Oct to go in the draw to win tickets to the V8 Supercars Gold Coast Armour All 600 event!
Entries open until 8am on Sunday 20th October

 TIME   V8 BillyKart Derby Day Schedule 
0800 hrs Registration desk opens for competitiors to collect their numbers/finalise entry
0800 hrs Scrutineering of billycarts begins
0855 hrs      ALL billycarts must be in Show 'n' Shine area (directed by V8 BillyKart Derby Officials)
0900hrs Final Draw to be released in Registration area
0900hrs Show 'n' Shine judging commences
0930hrs Show 'n' Shine Winner announced and presented with prize
0935 hrs Billycarts are paraded by their drivers up James Street to the Start Ramp
1000 hrs        Derby begins with the Primary School Heats and continues with others following      
1200 hrs V8 BillyKart Derby Finals commence
1215 hrs (time approx) Prizegiving Ceremony commences
1300 hrs (time approx) James Street reopens to traffic
